Winterfest...what to say? I discovered three things last night:

1) I'm absolutely, positively NEVER cutting my hair EVER again. You can so do NOTHING with it when its as short as it is.

2)I hate dances.

3) Never go anywhere without a deck of cards.

So yeah. I got ready at Christina's house, which was much fun...probably the most fun of the night. Sadly...Oh well. We played darts. and listened to weird music.

Then to the dance. Everyone...(literally everyone, but Kelsey and Christina (and I love them for it)) was trying to force me to dance with Andrew, but its just so hard. I don't know for sure why...but it wasn't fun. So Andrew, Kelsey, and I went to a random corner by the practice rooms and played cards. That was fun.

Then one of the less than 10 songs I actually heard was Love Shack, by the B-52's (I think) and that song reminds me of Logan. That SO didn't help. So I borrowed Emma's ring, and I love her for that.

Its not that I didn't want to dance with Andrew....but I guess its just that I don't dance. Ever. I seriously have no idea why I even went...oh well.

Enya is magical.

Winterfest tonight...and I'm nervous. Its all Logan's fault, I think. I know he's not at all like Logan, but I'm still a little, well, nervous I guess. I want to go, but not really...I just shouldn't have mentioned it to him.

Stories don't help. I should read more normal stories, but I'm not. And my mind is so elsewhere.

Maybe I should go play my dulcimer...I think I will.

Wow. Its kind of sad that i went almost an entire month without updating. Especially since I've been on nearly everyday. Oh well. I could say I was working on my Nano, but that is so not true, its more likely that I was talking to Andrew online. Because I'm lazy like that.

Anyway, Parade of Lights was this weekend. It was nice on Friday, and that's the day it was televised (even though the TV people are stupid so we got very little air time, and we got first in music/marching stuff. Stupid TV people.) but yesterday, Saturday, it was so freaking cold. Like wrap yourself in your flag cold....and that helped very little. I did get to spend about half the day with Andrew, so it was all good.

Yeah. Winterfest next weekend. Might be interesting.

Oh, and chair placement tests Tuesday and Thursday. Predicted order: George, David, me, Emma. Or maybe: George, me, David, Emma. It depends on my day.

Well, here I am at a church retreat, in Estes Park. It's our annual all-church retreat, and I found a computer. It amuses me.

So, my Nano is coming along, just not while I'm away from home. Which could prove interesting for Thanksgiving, since I have no clue where I'll be. I'm supposed to be at home, but I don't know if that's actually going to happen.
